Course Aim
This timely course will fully explore and support delegates’ understanding of the statutory requirements related to Attendance and Absence coding. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of how accurate coding contributes to effective safeguarding and keeping children safe, how it is intrinsically linked with registration practice, and how it leads to interventions that support improving attendance levels in their school. Designated time for discussion will ensure attendance staff are fully equipped with all the essential knowledge they require for their role. The day offers a wonderful opportunity to meet with and hear from others in person.
