Supporting Female Students to Thrive: Health, Lifestyle & Wellbeing
Female Health and Lifestyle Course Aim
In April 2026 the UK government released a Renewed Women’s Health Strategy to address basic everyday sexism in the NHS and an appalling culture of medical misogyny.
In recognition of the complex climate girls are growing up in today, this detailed course looks to cover the major issues adolescent girls are faced with. Addressing the huge gap in female health inequality needs to start early on and this course will equip schools and nurses to advocate for their female students, alongside robust guidelines and evidence to lean on. Increased media spotlights and voices on topics such as grooming, Jess’ rule, JK Rowling, and women and girls’ sports means we need to become more aware (of social media in particular). In response to the rise in recognition of risk to adolescent girls, this course comes crucially timed.
On a practical level, there will be an opportunity to discuss policies for your school in relation to best advocating for your girls.
Course fees are £295 + VAT per person with discounts available for multiple bookings
