Positive Masculinity: Educating, Supporting and Equipping Boys
Positive Masculinity Webinar Aim
Whether you have seen the Netflix series ‘Adolescence’ yet or not, it’s clear that there is much to done to address male mental health, online male-focused influences and the emerging ‘manosphere’ culture.
Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is now higher amongst boys than girls for the first time ever. There is a widening academic attainment gap between boys and girls, an increased accessibility of porn, reports of more overt misogynistic behaviour and harassment in schools, and the widespread influence of people like Andrew Tate and the INCEL movement… It’s no wonder boys are struggling.
With harmful voices and influences being unprecedented in their reach, we face a significant challenge to support, educate and equip our boys to develop into well-rounded, mentally healthy young men who respect women and girls and become advocates for justice & equality. This webinar will help uncover and understand these current issues and provide proactive strategies in order to address them.
This training is suitable for safeguarding staff, pastoral leads, tutors and teachers. If you haven’t yet attended, we warmly invite you to join us or share this with your colleagues.

- How to teach boys to recognise harmful messages online
