You are warmly invited to join us for this informative, hands-on day which will explore a range of the latest relevant topics in managing attendance.
Whether you have been on our attendance courses before or are new to Olive Branch, this is a brilliant annual ‘next steps’ day in preparation for the next academic year. We will cover a variety of essential topics including improving attendance, analysing data and reducing persistent and severe absence.
There will be plenty of opportunities to discuss and share best practice with your fellow colleagues, as well as gaining valuable guidance from the presenter Victoria. This practical conference has been specifically designed for a range of attendance practitioners; School Attendance Champions and Leads, Attendance Officers, Welfare Officers and Attendance Administrators. We would encourage colleagues from both state and independent schools to attend.
Key learning objectives include:
- Understanding the fast-moving context of attendance work
- Sharing insights from the latest national census data
- Effectively communicating with parents about attendance and absence
- Exploring best practice in attendance and absence management based on research
