Substance Use and Misuse – Understanding trends, managing risks, instigating change
Course Aim
This practical training course is presented by an experienced Substance Misuse Consultant and Trainer. The day offers Pastoral Leaders, Pastoral Staff and School Nurses a detailed understanding of current levels and emerging trends of substance misuse amongst young people, as well as an overview of the latest Chief Medical Officer guidelines.
Staff attending will learn how to offer confident support, and minimise harm, to students in their care.
